Do you know of anyone in the area, or that has lived in your area, that collects photos or an historian that collects photos and information?

Kay,
I am curator at the museum. I know of no book published about Batesville covering 1950s- 1970s. There is a fine picture book titled "Images of America, Independence County Arkansas" by Brian K. Robertson and Nancy Britton. It chronicles the early years around 1900 up to around 1930s. It sells in our museum gift shop for $19.99. Come by and shop!

I love visiting your museum. I have a friend that lived in Batesville around the 1950 through 1970, I have been looking for something like a book with photos of downtown Batesville and Business around that time.
Really anything from that time frame, stories, records, newspapers, but expecially the photos. If anyone can help, I would really apprecate it. I have tried the book stores, and can not find that time frame only eariler.

We have your information. The booklets were received yesterday. Someone should contact you about cost and shipping within the next week or so. If you haven't heard in 7-10 working days you can leave another comment and I will follow-up.

I visited your museum in October and wanted
to purchase the booklet Chronicles of Batesville but you were out. I left my telephone number and name to please contact me when you received a shipment. If you have it now would you reserve a copy for me and contact me regarding mailing and cost. Thank you.
Our party of 4 enjoyed the museum.
