Diary of Florence Robertson, circa 1928-1931

Florence Robertson was a student at Arkansas College (Lyon College) and she later married Roe Bracy. The diary was given to her at Christmas 1927 by her aunt Florence Baker Smith (Mrs. Asa Smith). Florence was the granddaughter of “Dad” Baker, the owner of the Baker Hotel. The Baker family was from Jamestown, Arkansas and bought the hotel. “Dad” Baker was in a wheel chair due to a haying accident and Mrs. Baker ran the hotel and never left the premises all during that time.
