Baker Tin Shop ca. 1900
This photo of the interior of the Baker tin shop that was located on Main Street was taken around 1900. Mrs. Baker is seen on the left and G.A. Baker is on the right side of the photo. Mr. Fox a helper at the shop is in the middle. Mr. Baker and his son Walter served Batesville as tinsmiths, making pots and pans and doing plumbing work for over 50 years. The photo is part of the Ferguson/Harley Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
