The Rutherford collection at Old Independence Regional Museum is home to this program celebrating President U.S. Grant’s visit to Little Rock on April 13, 1880. The program includes a short biography of the President as well as advertisements from various businesses in the city. Some of the advertisements suggest buying suits and one suggests that men purchase fabric for their wives who were left at home.
