From the Odd Fellows Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum
The Odd Fellows Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum contains this special resolution by the Odd Fellows home that all applicants will be inspected by the house physician upon arrival and if any disease is found will be isolated. It goes on to say that discovery of Tuberculosis or any other difficult or incurable disease in a potential inmate will cause them to be returned to their home lodge.
