Ann Adams Rhodes wedding dress August 10, 1946
This dress is part of the Rhodes Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum. It was worn by Ann Adams at her wedding to Paul T. Rhodes on August 10, 1946. It was fashioned from sheer marquisette. In shepherdess effect, the dress has a close fitting neckline with yoke forming the Madonna shoulderline. The full skirt was meant to be worn over hoops and extended into a court train.
