This 32 page booklet is part of the Holyfield Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum. It was written by R. W. Earnheart on January 18, 1907 and addressed to the Members of the Arkansas 36th General Assembly. The booklet speaks about the financial welfare of distillers and describes the phases of manufacturing and the sale of alcoholic beverages. It also addressed sobriety and prohibition. The booklet points out that six laborers are needed to for raising corn and making whiskey compared to 86 laborers to work cotton.
