Batesville Railroad Depot circa 1912
This photo mounted on cardstock shows the Batesville Railroad Depot under construction. The photo was taken by local photographer J.R. Lewis. Seventeen men are seen in the photo working on the building or standing nearby. Bricklayers are working to build the columns. Men are standing ready to pull lumber to the top of the building for rafters. The railroad tracks are visible in the photo. The photo is circa 1912. This photo is part of the Bufford Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
