This is a photocopy of a postcard of the White River near Newport, January 1912. You can see a person sitting on the jumbled ice on the frozen White River. In the distance you can see a dense thicket of trees that line the banks of the river. In the front left corner you can see what appears to be tire marks on the ice. This photo is part of the Bryant Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
