Photo likely taken on lower Main Street in Batesville around 1900.

A photo of two horse-drawn sleighs with unidentified men and women inside covered with lap robes.  There is snow on the ground.  A two story stone building and a wooden structure can be seen in the background.  It is believed the photo might have been taken on lower Main Street in Batesville around 1900.  The original photo was in the possession of Clyde McGinnis who gave it to the donor.  This photo is part of the Britton Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
