Dr. R.W. Toler – dated July 1946

A photo of Dr. R.W. Toler (left) who is playing a game of cards in his dental lab at the rear of the Union Bank and Trust building which opened onto Arch Street in Searcy.  The game is thought to be Acey Deucy, a form of backgammon.  The calendar on the wall is dated July 1946.  Three other calendars show Camel cigarettes and Sir Walter Raleigh pipe tobacco and pipe and a black Zippo lighter.     This artifact is part of the White County Historical Society Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
