The basic street layout of Batesville in 1841

This simple black line map of unknown origin shows the layout of Batesville in 1841.  The map features the Polk Bayou, White River and Miller Creek waterways.  Sites noted on the map include Jesse Bean, John Miller, Catalpa Hall, John Ringgold, Ramsey Ferry and Engleside.  It also shows the basic street layout of Batesville.  This map is part of the OIRM Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
