This children’s book titled “Mother Goose Favorites” was gifted to Varina Cook by “Santa” on December 25, 1893. Varnia was the daughter of V.Y Cook. The book was purchased from S.A. Hail and Co.Bookseller. The book features illustrations with woodcuts for most of the rhymes. This book is part of the Morrow Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
