Crystal White Soap was produced by the Colgate-Palmolive Co

This family sized bar of soap called Crystal White was produced by the Colgate-Palmolive Co. It was used for cleaning clothes, dishes or hands. The packaging says it “costs half as much as packaged soap” and “quality products since 1806.” The bar is in a blue and white package with a ram on the front. In the 1930s you could send in labels in exchange for a birthstone ring – ram is Aries. This object is part of the Wright Collection at Old Independence Regional Museum.
